Favela Street to Host Third Annual Time To Shine Street Football Tournament on June 29
On Saturday, June 29, Favela Street will organize the Time To Shine street football tournament for the third time. This unique event in the Netherlands provides a stage where girls can shine with their personal stories and passion for football.
On this day, participants from our programs in Amsterdam, Den Bosch, and Eindhoven will celebrate their personal development through football, music, and exchange. They are role models, or as we call them, the Future Leading Players in their communities.
They will celebrate alongside the new generation of top talent in women’s football. Teams from Ajax, PSV, and ADO Den Haag will showcase their skills in a competitive environment. This creates the ultimate platform for girls and women in (street) football, blending social impact with breathtaking play.
Come and enjoy the event on Saturday, June 29, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Oosterdokskade 163 (next to Amsterdam Central Station). There will be a special halftime show, side events, food, and drinks provided by Restaurant: A Beautiful Mess.
Favela Street organiseert derde jaarlijkse Time To Shine straatvoetbaltoernooi op 29 juni
Op zaterdag 29 juni organiseert Favela Street voor de derde keer het spetterende Time To Shine straatvoetbaltoernooi. Dit unieke evenement biedt een podium in Nederland waar meiden kunnen schitteren met hun persoonlijke verhalen en hun passie voor voetbal.
Deelnemers van onze programma’s in Amsterdam, Den Bosch en Eindhoven vieren op deze dag hun persoonlijke ontwikkeling door middel van voetbal, muziek en uitwisseling. Deze meiden zijn rolmodellen in hun wijken, of zoals wij ze noemen: de Future Leading Players.
Samen met de nieuwe generatie toptalent in het vrouwenvoetbal, zullen zij hun vaardigheden tonen. Teams van onder andere Ajax, PSV en ADO Den Haag nemen het tegen elkaar op in spannende wedstrijden. Hiermee creëren we het ultieme platform voor meiden en vrouwen in het (straat)voetbal, waar sociale impact samenkomt met indrukwekkend spel.
Kom je ook kijken en genieten? Het evenement vindt plaats op zaterdag 29 juni van 12.00 tot 18.00 uur aan Oosterdokskade 163 (naast Amsterdam Centraal Station). Er is een speciale halftime show, diverse side events en heerlijke food en drinks verzorgd door Restaurant: A Beautiful Mess. Mis het niet!
