Our mission

We exist to develop a new generation of strong, self-aware role models rooted in their community, using street football to connect, empower and drive change from the ground up.

About having fun

Street football is at the heart of Favela Street. It is accessible, flexible and played everywhere, making it the perfect way to connect with young people in underserved communities.

Through street football, we create a safe and fun environment where youth can express themselves, build confidence and develop life skills. It breaks down barriers, brings people together and reflects the real dynamics of everyday life. By starting with fun and connection, we open the door to personal growth, leadership and lasting impact.

The Ripple

Favela Street envisions a strong, positive community where local youth lead the way. We believe in the strength, talent and untapped potential of young people, especially in underserved communities.

Through our programmes, we focus on youth development, personal leadership and community impact. By investing in the individual, we create lasting change that naturally extends to families, neighbourhoods and beyond.

We call these young people Future Leading Players, a new generation of role models who grow from within their community and lead by example.
